Seohyun (real name: Seo Juhyun (서주현)) is singer-songwriter & actress under Namoo Actors. She is the youngest member (maknae) of SNSD (Girls Generation) and its subunit TTS. She has also made her solo debut and her acting debut.

In August 2007, Seohyun made her debut as the maknae of SM Entertainment’s then 9-member girl group Girls’ Generation also called SNSD (for So Nyeo Shi Dae) with the single album Into the New World. She has participated in every main group release since debut.

In April of 2012, she debuted in SNSD’s first subunit TTS (TaeTiSeo) which included fellow members Taeyeon and Tiffany. This unit debuted with their debut mini album Twinkle. She participated in every TTS unit release.

In January of 2017, SM Entertainment announced that Seohyun would be making her solo debut. She released her debut mini album Don’t Say No on the 17th of that month. In October of the same year it was announced that Seohyun, along with fellow SNSD members Tiffany and Sooyoung, would not be renewing their contracts with SM Entertainment. Later that year, Seohyun announced to have signed with Sublime Artists Agency.

In 2018, she announced that she would be leaving Sublime following her contract expiration.

In March of 2019, Namoo Actors announced that she would be signing to the company. She is currently still signed to them and renewed her contract in April of 2022.

In 2022, SM Entertainment announced that SNSD would be having a full group comeback in August of 2022 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the group. It marks the group’s first full comeback in 5 years since the release of Holiday Night in 2017 which marked their 10th anniversary. Seohyun participated in this comeback.

Since leaving SM, Seohyun has been focusing on her acting career, starring in 7 different films and TV shows.
